On-call Casual 

Health Care Assistant, Home Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant, Personal Support Worker

(Please note this position does not offer visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to reside and be employed in Canada, within the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area.)

Nest Home Care invites certified Health Care Assistants (HCA), Personal Care Assistants (PCA), Home Support Workers (HSW), and Personal Support Workers (PSW) with valid First Aid, Food Safe, and related certificates to make a difference in seniors’ lives. We provide respectful in-home care, supporting independence and well-being for each client.

Your Role

• Provide personal care and daily living support in client homes

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and safe mobility

• Support clients’ physical, emotional, and social well-being

• Communicate with kindness, clarity, and respect.

• Be a client-focused approach and respect each client’s diverse culture and background.

About You

• Health Care Assistants: Completed HCA program with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry

• Certificates you have: At minimum, Standard First Aid and CPR Level C, or its replacement Basic Life Support (BLS), along with a Food Safe Level 1 certificate, plus any other relevant training (e.g., dementia care, palliative care)

• Experience in caregiving (home, community, or practicum) is an asset

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Internationally educated nurses and health workers are welcome

• HCA/PSW students may be considered with the minimum certificates
